Would E-learning work well in elementary school

E-learning would not work well in elementary school. First of all most kids under grade four don't know how to use the computer properly. Also most kids don't have access to a computer or some families won't be able to afford it, and it is very expensive for the schools too, universities spend millions of dollars on e- learning elementary schools wouldn't be able to afford that.One fact about e-learning is that students learn more with a real teacher than with e-learning.Another problem with e-learning is that students won't know how to talk to people if all they're doing is watching they're computer all day.


On the other hand e-learning isn't so bad, some people would actually prefer it.Say for example if a student misses some notes or is absent one day they can review the notes they missed online.Also e-learning has forums which help the less outspoken kids participate and get better grades because they participated. Another way e- learning can be helpful is that it helps less organized kids become more organized because there is no clutter of paper everywhere you don't have to bring anything home from school just get to a computer and get started on work.E- learning has more cons than pros and therefore it would not be effective in elementary school.
